Buying a pot of Mac Pigment is like buying all the colour they put into 100 separate eye shadows, all condensed into one pot. Mac pigments are fairly sizeable pots of loose powder. The colour is seriously strong, and you’ll only need miniscule amounts. You can blend any number of colours together to create any number of effects. Layer it up for intense eyes or wash it on for a subtle hint of colour. I get compliments on my eye make up whenever I wear mine…
I’ve had my pot of Mac Pigment for a good year or so, and I use it quite regularly, and there isn’t even a dent in the powder. Unless you are a professional make-up artist I can’t imagine how anyone would ever get through a whole pot of this stuff. £15 is on the more pricey side of eyeshadow costs, but consider your Mac Pigment an investment, it will last forever! In fact several people make a good trade selling teaspoons of their pigment for a few pounds a piece on ebay. The only problem is choosing which shade to buy.
Lots have people (with more time on their hands than me) have shared their Mac Pigment looks online, see what you can do with it here, here, here, here, here, here and here.
