No 7 Instant Radiance Concealer
My YSL touché Eclat habit is getting expensive and this product was next on my list of possible replacements. I had been substituting with The Body Shop’s Lightening Touch, but lately I’ve found the colour too orangey and the illuminating capabilities not on a par with Touché Eclat. Although Touche Eclat is long lasting, the fact that I keep finding more and more uses for it (highlighting brow bones, cheek bones, my cupids bow, everywhere really) means that for £23 I still feel the sting when I have to fork out for a new one.
On first glance No 7’s Instant Radiance looks ok, the packaging is sleek, black and shiny, but fails to capture the luxury evoked by YSL’s gold casing. And after a few rounds in my make-up bag, the black has lost all its shine. The tube also looks a little miniature for my liking, it hasn’t run out yet, but I’m not sure it’s going to last me as long as its predecessor.
But as we all know, it’s not the size that matters, it’s the content! And so far the No 7 has more than lived to YSL in the coverage stakes. Like Touché Eclat, it covers black circles, hides those awful blotchy bits that appear round my nose, highlights my skin and generally makes it look a darn sight better than it did before I put it on. And for £11.50, I know I’ll be buying it again.

Ive been using this for a couple of years and I probably buy about one a year as it seems to be never ending! A great product that conceals, looks natural and even works on combination skin.
