When they say that this stuff is waterproof, they mean it. The Survoltee metallic cream eyeshadow really does stay put. My scientific testing (splashing and submerging in water a lot, then rubbing dry and trying again) didn’t shift it...
Sure it faded a bit, but the good thing is that it faded evenly rather than going patchy. Bizarrely it also went a bit sticky once it got wet, but that didn’t seem to affect its staying power. The colour could probably be built up more, but I used it as more of a soft shimmer than strong colour, and the shades are mainly of the pastel variety – I tried a soft pink. Make up Artist Daniel Sandler recommends applying with fingers over dry lids for a sheer wash of metallic colour. Perfect beach make-up for only a fiver.
