Plaited Beach Hair

Rochas_plaits

These mini plaits (as seen at Rochas) are a great way to keep your hair off your face on the beach and are easier to create than they look. The plait on the left is created the same way as a french plait, but only using a small section of hair and working forward towards the forehead. It’s easiest to section off the hair before hand (an equal sized strip where you want the plait to go – in this case down the centre parting and round the front of the forehead) and then plait adding more hair as you go along. If you can’t managed the French plaits, normal mini plaits will have a similar effect!
