I'm an eyelash curler devotee (use them, I urge you! If you have miniature peepers like me, curling makes your eyes look so much bigger) but even I'm not sure I would want to let this pocket design (left) near my eyes. Made by Rubis - the Swiss tweezer maker - it has won an award for innovative design. Award or not, they look impossibly scary, not at all pretty, and I can't for the life of me work out how you are supposed to use them. They might be fine if you're going on a camping trip - but for everyday use I much prefer their classic design (shown right), now that's something that would have pride of place in my makeup bag.
