Maybelline Dream Mousse Eyecolour

Maybelline_1 The texture of these eye colours is all spongy and fluffy – rather like a mousse in fact. That’s about the only thing I liked about it though. The colour spreads unevenly, it gets under your nails when you try to get it out of the pot, and the fluffy texture deflates like a soufflé after you’ve used it for a while. I’d choose powder eyeshadow over this any day.

Hey, does anyone know how to do eyeshadow foiling? I really havent got a clue...tried (and failed) wetting some pigment to use as a liner and ended up with a runny mess. Help!!

Hmm, I was looking at these a few weeks ago and thought they looked quite nice. Just as well I didn't get any then (I was interested in the blue one).

I tried a bit on my lids in the shop, and it looked quite nice, but perhaps that's because I only used a small bit?

  • Was it really that bad?? I thought their mousse foundation was great.

    Silly colours, too.

...and their matching foundations are even worse. I expected the magical mousse formula to even out my slightly patchy skin tone and leave a matte-r than matte finish, but to no avail. It looked as if I wasn't wearing any foundation.

As for eyeshadow, I've found that Barry M Dazzle Dust is "the" eyeshadow.
