After very long delays, the Thermae Bath Spa is finally open – it’s the only place in Britain you can wallow in natural thermal spa waters and there’s also a host of blissful sounding treatments on offer. Watsu (£55) involves floating in the natural thermal waters while being massaged (not sure about the logistics of this but apparently is great for stress), while the Vichy shower (from £36) is a simulation of a tropical rain shower using different temperatures and intensities of water to massage your body.
