Doux Me Rose Glacee Milk Cleanser

Doux_me_cleanser I'd recommend the Doux Me Rose Glacee Milk Cleanser (£22) to anyone stuck in the city who'd much rather be a milk maid spending their time milking the cows and frolicking around the fields in the country. I'm not sure why, but it evokes a sense of nature in me. It could be the fact that it's made of ingredients so natural it has to be kept in the fridge, or the fact that it's based on a beauty regime that involves wafting around a lot of flower water. It's all very whimsical and I have to remind myself I'm not a flower fairy...

The cleanser itself is creamy, and cool (obviously seeing as it lives in the fridge) and post cleansing, my face was left with a healthy soft focus glow. Usually I prefer face washes to wipe off cleansers, but this still left my face feeling clean. Although I didn't try the Doux flower water mists (£12.50), I would advise using both together as the mist is designed to be used in conjunction with the cleanser and helps to remove the remnants of the cleanser in a natural way rather than using an astringent toner.

Perfect for dry skins (although there's also a normal and combination skin version) and nature lovers, it provides a cooling, soothing relief on hot sticky days.
