Yay or Nay: False Nails

Nails_1 It turns out eyelash curlers are a girls best friend, with 15 of you extolling their curling greatness. 19 of you voted, one less than last week, but I put up the cringeworthy eyelash curler video anyway because I'm nice like that.

So we know you like your eyelashes curly, but do you like your nails natural or false? It would seem everything associated with the WAG's is falling out of fashion quick, and this season's nails are short and dark - easy to create naturally - but do you still yearn for long talons? Yay or Nay and why?

I wore gel nails french manicure-style for four years and recently took them off. I just got tired of seeing them worn way too long on older women. Talk about misappropriation of good grooming. Now I'm looking forward to wearing deadly short dark colours for fall. Take that, granny!

I don't mind them but I hate the acrylic ones. My nail are in good condition so I don't need fake ones, but I hate it when people have those acrylic ones hanging off like Julia said.

Yay! As a recenlty stopped nail biter, I find they are the only way to ensure nice neat nails every day while my yukky, ridgey, flaky-breaky nails get some life into them. And I do love having ghetto-fabulos falsies for special occasions!!

Yay, but only when done properly - short and neat and natural looking, and no cheap-looking overly white french tips. And they have to be removed or filled-in every couple of weeks, as Julia said people who leave them on too long just look stupid.

I have gel extensions put on before big occasions as I'm a nail-biter to the point where I just can't grow them above about 3mm before they break.
