GHD curls

Hair_styles We know the bob is back, as is brunette hair. But that doesn't mean it's not impossible to recreate looks like this at home. Although this lovely side-parted dropped curls style was created entirely with GHD's - the best I've managed with mine is twists. Simply twizzle your hair into a twist, then run straighteners slowly over the entire twist to set. Allow to cool before you release and spray with hairspray like Elnett for a soft lasting hold. Looks great from a high ponytail with long hair - put the hair in a pony tail first then divide into sections and twist each section.

I watched a hair dresser do ringlets with a GHD - the really narrow one for short hair though. You hold a small selection of hair and use the straightener the same way as you would curl a ribbon with a scissors for a Christmas present wrapping.

Great analogy with the sissors! Yes I think you must need a narrow one - I tried that with my straighteners and it came out in kinks rather than curls! Oops
