Ask the Team: Find me a silent epilator

Ask_the_team I'm wondering if you can help me find a silent epilator. After trying Braun's Silk-epil, I'm an epilator convert, but the loud as a lawnmower noise it makes is really a bit too much! Next year when I have housemates and paper thin walls I'm not sure they'd appreciate the noise it makes, so I'm looking for a silent or at least a less noisy epilator, which is hopefully still effective and not budget-busting. Thanks! Irene

You're not wrong Irene, some of my housemates actually came up to find out what was going on when they heard my ultra loud Braun epilator, but luckily we've found you a quiet one...

Panasonic_silent_epilator

All three of Panasonic's epilators operate at under 55 Db, making them the quietest on the market. But that isn't their only good feature - they're also designed to pluck more hairs, and pluck them less painfully than traditional epilators. Several of Panasonic's adverts claim that they are in fact 'silent', but I'd advise buying from a store with a money back guarantee in case it's still too noisy!

Choose from the ES2047, a cordless, waterproof design that can be used in the shower, priced at £44.99, and the very affordable ES2027, priced at an amazing £19.99.
