I don't know who got there first, but Bobbi Brown's Sandbar is back by popular demand and Lush's Sandstone soap never went away. Whoever came first, one thing is not in dispute - the price. Bobbi Brown's version may be scented with her 'Beach' scent, but at £10 a bar it's almost five times as much as Lush's Sandstone, which is £2.10 for a similar sized bar. So there you have it, you can get sandy whatever your budget.

My Lush faves are their solid shampoos and conditioners, the lip balms are great, Helping Hands, Angels on Bare Skin, the Fig Soap, the sand soap is ok too but my boyfriend loved it until he realised how much it cost (he got through it rather quickly!)the I should coco soap is lovely also. So much of their stuff is great! I think it's a case of trying and seeing what suits you! Ask nicely and I'm sure you can get a few samples. Only thing I haven't got on with is one of their face masks that brought me up in a rash!

I only started using Lush products a couple of months ago and have used their Snowcake almond soap.
