After discovering Jessica Simpson's Belly Button Fragrance, I wondered, with some trepidation, if anyone else had created a belly button fragrance. The answer, thankfully, was no - but I did make some other not all that pleasant discoveries. The first, the belly button brush, for which we are expected to hand over £7.95, which was, incredibly, out of stock. Who buys this stuff? The second, part of the Thierry Mugler fragrance collection to accompany the film Perfume, is Virgin No.1 - 'a subtle, fresh scent that was devised using
a method which captured, analysed and chemically reconstructed the
scent around a virgin’s navel. It has hints
of Mirabelle plums'. Which is not likely to become a best seller, simply because of the price point of US$700.
