if the eyeshadow is a little hard,try to wet the brush.it will be easyer to use it, and the colour will stay longer.

I've always had a slight problem with YSL eyeshadow compacts like this. For one, the gold packaging always looks the best when you first open it. However, from there it gets finger marks and small scratches so easily :( I too also find the eyeshadow itself very hard, like K8tie. A colour that looks bold and rich always goes on wishy washy.

That's interesting K8ie - I'd expect more than just looking pretty for £28! It's a shame the shades aren't as good as they look.

i have the one on the far left and to be honest i am not that impressed with them... the eyeshadow itself is hard which therefore makes it hard to pick up colour on a brush... i highly rate other products in the ysl range but sadly not this one however how pretty they may b :(
