i support jenny's list and i'd like to add - fishies!

i've been wearing opaque, creamy pale blue on my (short) nails forever, and i think it looks very classy and fresh. i recently bought a lovely deep turquoise that looks fun on my toes. i've never tried blue lip gloss, but now y'all have got me all intrigued. which is better, the diorkiss or the benefit? maybe i'll get "california kissin'" just to rep my block.

Blue isn't a colour found in nature? Sun? Sky? Forget-me-nots? Hydrangea? Grape hyacinth? Peacocks?

I can't wear blues on my fingers or lips (or I've never found a shade that works, anyway) but bright and deep blues on my toe-nails are brilliant and I love them.

A definite yay for me.

I have DiorKiss in Mint Lemonade and I really like it. What blue-tinted lip glosses do is to slightly bounce off the red in the lips to create extra transparency. They give a stunning "sheerer and sheer" look.

According to Kevyn Aucoin, they (or his own blue lip gloss...) add depth and dimension to the lips to make them look fuller, which is the same idea.

By the way, I think it is great to wear cool colors when it's very very warm!

I'll definitely give blue toes and maybe fingers a try. I was actually into blue before I even knew it was going to be big this year. I'm intrigued by blue-tinted lips. I already look for blue undertones in my lip colors. So yay!
