My one experience with a tan optimiser was a little scary to tell the truth. On the way back from two weeks in Florida, aged 14, I decided that covering myself in tan optimiser would be a great idea to build upon that very light beige colour I'd achieved (I don't really tan). Little did I know, said 'tan optimiser' was in fact a fake tan in disguise, and I spent a week of school in misery with everyone calling me orange. Luckily, Lancaster's Fast Tan Optimizer is nothing of the sort, it is, and I quote "a light, meltingly-textured cream for face and body that allows you to obtain a rapid, deep tan due to an exclusive tanning complex that boosts the skin's own natural tanning process".
Hmmm. Has anyone tried this? Does it work? It's available in SPF 15 or SPF 8 for £19.50.
