How to curl your hair with your straightening irons
Getting curls with our hair straighteners is something we've all heard about, but the reality of getting it right is sometimes more difficult than you imagine. This step-by-step video from GHD will help you achieve great curls with your straightening irons, and if you've never worked out how it's done, will give you the tips to get started...
Obviously this will still work without the layers upon layers of GHD styling products - they go a little over board in the clip!

I had no idea or didn't think about curling my hair with a straightener before I saw this clip. Will definitely try this out. Thank you!!!

This is the singularly most useful post ever on this blog - thanks!

My only concern is, do we need so many products??Can it be done just with the straightner?
Posted by: ilovecheese | July 6, 2007 8:01 AM
ilovecheese - no, it's only because GHD are trying to advertise all their products in the clip, you could probably get the same effect with no products at all - although a heat protectant would be a good idea.
Keely - Glad you liked it, will try and find more good stuff like this for you!
Mel - I have to admit I never knew it was done how they did it in the video, I've been trying to do it totally differently - hopefully I'll have more success now!

It worked on my bangs and stuff but on the larger peices of hair it wouldnt work well.
Plus it came out big looking and not like hers at all. Is it because I have a chi straightner?

Alison - No I think it's just difficult!
