It's hard with beauty products to know which of the many so called 'miracle' products you really need. Well, you don't need to use A'kin's Rosehip oil, but your skin will love you for it if you do. I used this product as a night treatment, applied after cleansing and before bed. Purely because it was an oil, I found it a little too greasy for daytime use. My skin's been through some pretty tough times this last month (surfing is about as punishing as it gets, what with sea water and UV rays) but you know what, my skin actually looks better for it, and I've got organic rosa canina seed extracts to thank for that...
The reported benefits of Rosehip Oil are at least ten-fold. The oil is packed with naturally occurring omega 9, 3 and 6, pro-vitamin A, and vitamin E, which accounts for its ability to fight wrinkles, free radicals and acne, and leave your skin a renewed, revitalised version of its former self. I can't vouch for the acne reducing ability, although I certainly haven't gained any spots while using the oil. But what I do have is gorgeously glowing skin.
Natural beauty fans will be pleased to know that not only is this product certified organic, it contains one single ingredient - Rosehip oil and nothing else. As a beauty-buying nation, we're demanding ever more natural products, and this, nature fans, is about as natural as it gets.
The real test? The list of products I've tested is growing, and this is one of few I know I'll purchase again.
A'Kin Rosehip Oil is created by The Purist Company, and is available for £14.99 at mypure.co.uk, Fresh and Wild, Selfridges and Harrods.
