I've tried body lotions that cost as little as 99p, and now, I've tried one that costs £75. Guess which one I liked best?
Before you wonder about my sanity for spending £75 on a body cream, I didn't, I received it to test as part of The Beauty Bible testing panel (anyone can sign up to be on their list, click here). And now, I can assure you, I would never part with my own cash for such a product.
It was lumpy, with a consistency like cold porridge, making it too thick to rub in easily and leaving a lingering white residue on my skin. The scent? An overpowering fragrance uncannily like cut grass. Not an offensive smell, I'll give you, but not one I want to wear. The worse part? It wasn't even good at moisturising. A tub of yoghurt would probably do a better job.
In the world of beauty, I'm forever learning, price does not automatically equal quality.
