Solutions to thinning hair: Hairmax Laser Comb

Hairmax_laser_comb
Despite the name, you don't do any actual combing with the Hairmax laser comb. Instead, you glide the laser over your dwindling mane and pray to the hair gods your follicles spring into action. The brand claims 90% of users are flicking their newly thick hair about with glee after 3-5 months of using the comb, which works its magic through something called laser photo therapy. The theory is that hair cells crave sunlight, and providing them with a sunlight substitute sends them into overdrive. A rather expensive overdrive, I might add, as each comb costs US$545.

It does seem a bit steep, but compared to monthly supplies of other hair growth treatments it seems like it would pay for itself quickly. According to this website http://www.promolife.com/hairmax-lasercomb/prod_1557.html
they also have a "compact" model for $395.00.

Their success is exaggerated. I don't know where 90% comes from, but I doubt that 90% of users saw their hair grow back. I've seen user comments on a hair forum and I did not see one positive experience. Oh and this forum has regular members so it's not just complainers visiting.
