Shop the world for beauty products (direct from your sofa)

Beauty_shop_the_world

Right, so we've established that the best places to go on your beauty buying hols are the USA and Japan, and even worked out which products we might take with us. But what about if you're going nowhere but Bognor Regis this year? Here's some great websites for buying beauty products from abroad...

Sasa.com - This treasure trove of a site stocks loads of Japanese brands including RMK, Kanebo, Sofina and Kose, and even some of the hard to find US ones too. The best part though is all the obscure brands selling the kind of quirky stuff you thought you'd have to go to Japan for.

Pout Special Finds - Yep Lola, CARGO and the like are usually only available abroad. But Pout stocks a select range from a small group of hard to find brands. Hurrah! There's some on the website and more in the Flagship store...

Adam Beauty - I've only recently discovered this thanks to commenter Rowena, but according to her the shipping is excellent and cheap and it stocks pretty much every Japanese brand I've ever heard of, and many more I've yet to discover.

eBay - Of course, how could I not include eBay! Loads of stuff from the US and further afield is on offer on the original auction site. If you have no luck on ebay.co.uk, try ebay.com and search for people who ship internationally.

Strawberry.net
- This site ships all over the world, and if something you want isn't listed on their website, they say they may be able to get it for you. Worth a try.

US mail forwarding - There's plenty of these sites about (do a Google search and look for the best deal), so if you must have something from Sephora, this is a (quite expensive) way to do it.

Anyone got any others to share?

Pleasantly surprised to see sasa.com on here since I've never heard it from anybody or anywhere. Well except when I visited Hong Kong. Their stores are huge there.
A site i often browse about is http://www.yesstyle.com/en/Beauty.aspx
their index of brands are always growing

you know how Shu Uemura eye curlers are meant to be great? Where can i buy them in the uk? It seems to be only available in London and I stay in Edinburgh so a tad far... I'd really like to give them a try

Hey, thanks for the link Miffy, that site looks pretty good!

The nearest store for you is Harvey Nicks in Manchester - still a pretty long way! You can call 0207 240 7635 and they'll send it to you mail order though. Hope that helps!
