Yay or Nay: Hair Scrunchies
Osoblog has a picture of Sienna Miller wearing a hair scrunchie, in public. Now, like most of the population (I thought), I relegated my scrunchies to bedtime wear as soon as the nineties ended. Are any of you still wearing them? Would you wear one out of the house?
Yay or Nay and why for the scrunchie?
[Don't forget it's Yay or Nay day at Hippyshopper, Bridalwave, Dollymix, Corrie Blog, Catwalk Queen, Kiss and Makeup, The Bag Lady, Shoewawa and Shiny Shiny, too!]

I wear one if I'm pottering around the house, but otherwise I don't wear them out any more.
Also, it just reminds me of that Sex and the City episode where Carrie says no woman in NYC wears a scrunchie ;)

I wouldn't even wear one in the house, go for bands! I honestly cannot believe she is wearing a SCRUNCHIE!

Noooo!!!! (no need to add more: they are horrible)

I wear one when I go to the gym. Why? It doesn't leave a bad kink like the bands do.

I had quite a profitable business making scrunchies and selling them.
This was in 1994 when I was at school though.....
Nay. (I'm fearing that early 90s 'fashion' is next on the recycling belt now that 80s is waning....)

Nay, nay, nay. Scrunchies are for theme parties and chavs. I would rather use a rubber band and all the pain and hair-rippage that that entails than a scrunchie.

Fair enough they're useful for the gym or wearing to bed, but I hate them now. I used to wear them all the time in the nineties too though...

Oh memories of the days when I used to coordinate them with all my outfits but I must say NAY NAY NAY!!!

No way! I remember needing to borrow a hairband off a friend after being caught in a downpour and she offered me a god awful fake Burberry scrunchie, I ended up going out with my frizzy bed hair rather than wearing that!

Nay nay nay! I purged hair scrunchies from my accessories collection ages ago (although I think my mom saved some and they're floating around her house somewhere...).

Well I despise hair bands after taking out so much of my hair but headbands are taking the love I had for scrunchies.
Most scrunchies I own are unbelieveably embellished though-- you wouldn't even know that they're scrunchies!
