Givenchy Christmas 2007 Diamantisimme Collection and Prisme Solitaire in Precious Diamond
I'm sorry. I know I promised that I would not mention Christmas again until at least November, and now I've mentioned two holiday collections in one day. But what's a girl to do when cosmetics companies produce tempting sparkly, shimmering, diamond offerings? Resistance is futile.
The star of Givenchy's Christmas collection is Prisme Solitaire in Precious Diamond (£28), a collection of pearlescent, silicone coated microparticles that leave a transparent, yet multicoloured sparkle on the skin. It can be used wet or dry, allowing you to control the intensity of your shimmer.

Lash Sparkle (£17) - Like Givenchy's previous offering, Lash Pearls, these create pearlescent jewels on the tips of lashes - but this time around, they come with an injection of added sparkle.
Rouge Interdit in Rose Desire (£16) - Features a limited edition case showered in diamonds (not real ones, obviously!) and a sparkly silver ribbon.
Captiv'eyes Extreme Black (£17) - Volumising mascara complete with added diamond glitter.
All are limited edition and available from Harrods from the 14th October and nationwide from 1st November.
