London Fashion Week SS08: Bare faces at Christopher Kane

christopher%20kane%20lancome.jpg

Both London Fashion Week and New York were full of barefaced looks. Which, truth be told, gets a bit boring after a while. Christopher Kane was just one of the designers to go with this look in London, and creator Gucci Westman said the look she was going for was 'just rushed in to an amazing country house in the middle of Scotland, windswept with matte, clean, pure complexions, and a hint of colour emanating from within'. Which is great and all, the models do indeed have pure complexions, and look gorgeous - they're models on a catwalk after all. But anyone who's spent an iota of time outside being windswept in Scotland (or anywhere, for that matter) will know that you do not emerge looking like that. As it were, she used four products to get them looking naturally windswept...

Lancome Aqua Fusion Tinted Moisturiser, Primordiale Optimum Lip, Magique Blush in Cinnamon Glaze and Color Design Eyeshadow in Click.

And rumour has it, there's a Christopher Kane/Lancome collaboration coming next year.

Hi Louise, sorry about this, we're trying to get it sorted!

Usually mascara is streaming down your face from the rain and wind battering your eyes, and your hair is stuck in your lipgloss, and everywhere else for that matter too. :P
