Rimmel 'get the London look' video - how to use Lash Maxxx mascara and wear pink eyeshadow by make up artist Lee Pycroft
This is a nifty how-to make up video from Rimmel, to help you get the 'London look' (pink punky eyes like Kate Moss sports in the Lash Maxxx ad apparently). There's plenty of tips on applying eyeliner, using the new Lash Maxxx mascara, and wearing hot pink (eek) eyeshadow. The great thing is that they use only Rimmel products so you know you can replicate the look for not much money, but I'm not convinced that hot pink eyeshadow really does suit everyone!

I love this look! I'm biased towards hot pink eye shadow anyway and I love that she showed it on a girl with dark skin. A girl friend of mine who has really dark skin has a hot pink shadow from MAC and I've also seen a similar one from Make Up For Ever (although I think it's actually a blush).

Pink eyeshadow just doesn't do it for me.
Very pale skin, blue-green eyes and dark hair...
for some reason I just end up looking washed out or sickly.
But for those of you that can wear it, why not.
It seems fun.

I thought she looked much better before the hot pink shadow was applied. I like wearing brown with pink as it tones it down, but I suppose thats not the look they were after.
