As I often attest, money is not a very good indication of quality when it comes to cosmetics. Which would explain why Mary Greenwell - a worldwide renowned make up artist whose lessons cost £1000 a day - chose Prestige Liquid Eyeliner (priced around £5) as one of her all time favourite products. Prestige Liquid Eyeliner is available in Boots in nine colours, and Mary says in The Times that 'it gives the darkest line of any I know'. Right, that's me off to bulk buy on them now...

I'm a big fan of Prestige liquid eyeliner. I bought the very expensive MAC gel eyeliner, which gives a strong, straight line even for a complete novice, but I preferred the Prestige after I got the hang of drawing it on (and keeping my hand steady). MAC gel eyeliner is almost impossible to wash off, while Prestige is easy to clean and allows you to control the thickness of the line better.

i use this and love it too! i was using the mac liquid liner before, but this is much cheaper and works just as well...plus the brush is a little bit easier to apply!
