Paris Fashion Week SS08: John Galliano by Pat McGrath

I've said it before, I'll say it again, Pat McGrath is nothing short of a cosmetic genius. Her latest triumph? The multiple make up looks on display at John Galliano. Created with hairstylist Julien d’Ys, the inspirations were numerous, ranging from the Rockettes, to Rossy de Palma, to Edith Bouvier Beale.

Cantonese opera singers do their makeup like that, lots of pinks, reds and gold (top photo). I really like the makeup in the middle; golden eyeshadow.

I luuuurve the first one, it makes me think of summer! Gorgeous! And I love how the eyebrows are left poking out, intentional or otherwise!
