Review: Clinique Airbrush Concealer

It's official. My YSL Touche Eclat has been replaced. I never thought I'd cast it aside for another, but I have, and it's Clinique Airbrush that is my new concealer beau.

Unlike Touche Eclat, which is more of a highlighter than a concealer, this actually conceals. And for someone who once listed foundation as my desert-island beauty product, the fact that I can conceal with this and wear no foundation is a Very Big Deal...

Add in the fact that it's cheaper (£15 compared to £23), comes in more shades, and makes my undereye circles actually completely disappear, I know Touche Eclat won't be a staple in my make up bag ever again. Clinique Airbrush, welcome to the fold.

I've lusted after YSL TE for ages, but been stymied by the unsuitably light shades. I've just bought the clinique version in their darkest version and, from how the SA applied it, am very happy. Just a thought though about colour: I, with asian skin, am at the very limit of suitability - what are black women supposed to do about highlighting concealers?!

replace YSL? these are strong words Charlotte, I'm off to the counter to check it out. Thanks for the tip!

I definitely love the Clinique Airbrush concealer. As a college student, sleep is a luxury, and this makes me look like I get all the sleep that I want (which I'm lucky if I get four to six hours).

I work for clinique and at first when i show people this product they dont believe it can be a patch on ysl's!

I know when i put this on someone, 9 times out of 10 they will purchase it because of how amazing it is...

i wouldn't say that there was many shades in it though as the fair is for pale people and the medium for more tanned. the fair neutral however is good for people who have issues with redness as it has a more of a yellow colouring so it gets rid of redness (rosacea and the such)
