No matter how many times I brush my hair before I go in, I'm always mortified in hair salons because my hair gets so damn knotty that the stylist can rarely get their brush through it without causing me winces of pain. So I'm sorely tempted to buy a Tangle Teezer, which is apparently amazing at getting through knotty hair without pulling, and take it with me every time I need a trim.
