Chantecaille bill their luminous eye liner as a chic alternative to kohl, saying that the pearlescent liquid softly emphasises the shape of the eye whilst adding a hint of colour. The shades do indeed look faboulous, and are very sophisticatedly named after musical terms Allegro, Tempo, Crescendo and Pianissimo. As you would expect, all this classiness comes at a price - £19. So I suggest you save this one for posh events and use Bourjois' cheaper clubbing liner for a night on the town!
