Nars Makeup Your Mind - top models without makeup!
Nars Makeup Your Mind is a coffee table book of 63 models before and after makeup (NARS makeup, natch). There's tips on how to recreate the looks, but I'm more interested in the transformations of normal-yet-beautiful girl to model. Although as you can see from the samples of the book under the cut, not all the models look totally makeup-free in the before shots.
Keep reading for pictures of Naomi Campbell, Sophie Dahl and more before and after getting the NARS treatment...

I understand the fashion industry likes "unusual" models... and I really don't want to seem like a bitch... but that second girl looks like gollum from Lord of the Rings!!

This scares me, it makes me think I might look that weird without makeup on and not realise :( The last one is just wow.

I don't find Sophie Dahl and her excessively whittled nose all that attractive, either. Is it just me, or do the models 'after' photos look worse than their 'before' photos?

I don't like the after pictures, I can;t quite put my finger on it but the are just dull.

Naomi looks absolutely stunning without a spot of makeup on

All the women are beautiful in their own right , i think the point of this book is to highlight how wonderful make up is and how it can highlight and enhance your qualities. Its not to show how ugly! they are without make up.
Make up is amazing , it can make you feel so much better with just a lick of mascara or a full professional make over.

I like it how the book uses many different physical types, shapes and colours, and not just the usual «beauties». The makeup is gorgeous too. BTW, the book is way cheaper on the Amazon website!
