Spring 2008 #6: Lancome L.U.C.I

Lancome%20L.U.C.I.jpg

Lancome's L.U.C.I collection will be the last from their creative director Gucci Westman, who is leaving the brand. And by jove, she's certainly leaving with a bang. L.U.C.I stands for Luminous Colourless Colour Intelligence, which in a nutshell means it looks colourless but comes to life on skin and under different lights. Which, if the way the model looks is anything to go by, has stunning results!

The collection consists of L.U.C.I Eyes - a two shade eyeshadow, one of which is 'photonic' and does all the aforementioned clever things. An illuminating face powder which again, is 'photonic' and very clever, several shades of cooling eye shadow, new shades of Colour Fever Gloss and Colour Fever Shine and a shimmering lilac eyeliner.

Like that? Try this: Lancome Le Magnetique Nail Polish from the Gucci Westman Mystery Game Collection | Lancome Ombres Éclair Eyeshadow Pencil

Yeah, I am loving LUCI. The eyeliner isn't as good as I was hoping, but layered upon a dark liner it's really rather fab. The shadow is amazing! Beautiful!
