Car insurance company Sheilas' Wheels reckon almost 190,000 female motorists have had an accident or ‘near miss’ as a result of their hairstyle getting in the way while driving (how they get these statistics I'll never know).
They cite the long fringe (a la Ms. Moss) as the most dangerous cut, followed by the sweeping fringe and short face framing layers.
Their survey found that over 9 and a half million of us give no thought to how our hair might affect our driving when getting a cut (well duh) and that as a result 57% of women have removed both hands from the wheels to rearrange their locks.
As all these fringes and layers are apparently making us more dangerous they're urging us to keep hair accessories to hold our hair back in our cars at all times!
