Review: Liz Earle Intensive Nourishing Treatment

I love face masks - they're the ultimate pampering treat - and all the better if they actually improve your appearance in some way (believe me, lots don't). So far the best I've found is SkinVital's H Revive Mask, but this one deserves a honourable mention too. I've been using this when I want my skin to look that little bit better for a special event. And although it doesn't provide miracles, it definitely gives my skin a bit of a slightly-more-moisturised soft focus glow after I've used it. If your skin is looking a bit grey, this will help it get back to a less peaky colour again.
You use it in much the same way as Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser - but rather than washing this off right away you apply a thick layer and leave on for 10-15 minutes (or overnight) before buffing off with a muslin cloth soaked in hot water. Obviously a little bit of the glow comes from using the muslin cloth, but the result is better than if you had just used the cleanser...
The only real downside to this product is the size - 50ml - which is rather small when they're telling you to apply a thick layer each time you use it. And when you factor in the price of £11, means it won't last for that many uses.
