Runway Rundown SS08 Couture: Elie Saab

Usually catwalk hair and makeup makes a statement of some kind, especially in the couture shows, but at Elie Saab, it's just plain gorgeous (rather like the clothes, it has to be said). There's lots of emphasis on cheekbones (although the models already have pretty amazing bone structure) and lips are bang on the nude trend. The eyes meanwhile are smouldering - with black eyeliner, nude lids and various brown shades in and above the crease. It makes me swoon, it really does.

These are pretty looks. I'm attending the Amsterdam fashion week at the moment and have seen similar looks of pale faces and nude lips. The hairdos are also amazing!
