Spring 2008 #12: Calvin Klein Beauty
The new Calvin Klein Beauty collection is now online at Sephora in the US, and according to A Touch of Blusher, will probably reach the UK in May. The blurb for the new range says it will follow the trends on the runway, creating the look of the season, but in make up. Having had a quick look at the Calvin Klein Spring 2008 RTW collection, they have kind of succeeded. The clothes collection is a little repetitive, white, white and more white, mixed with the occasional hint of cream and green. And while the beauty collection does have a slightly bigger palette of shades, they're all muted, and in my eyes, much of a muchness. Personally this is a collection I'm finding it difficult to get excited about having just seen the pictures - but I'll reserve my full judgement until they arrive here and we can test them.
