Spring 2008 #8: Smashbox Green Room

smashbox%20green%20room.jpg

Smashbox have gone green for their latest collection, but not in the way you might think. Green Room is actually named so for its environmental conscience rather the the colour green, which only appears once in the eyeshadow quad. The lip gloss, eyeshadow, blusher and primer all contain extract of Moringa seed, and for every product sold, a new Moringa tree is planted. The packaging is also eco-concious, all of it being either biodegradable or recyclable.

But nature aside, these products are differ from the norm in another way. The primer and the lipgloss are 2 in 1 products, with luminiser and coloured lipgloss held in the inner part of the packaging, and Photo Finish Primer and shiny clear gloss suspended in the outer layer of the packaging. Clever!
