On last night's episode of How to Look Good Naked, they were heralding the return of the 'non-tan'. That is, staying milky white and glowing rather than baking under the sun or overdoing the fake tan. Personally, I don't really have any choice but to follow this trend, being permanently milky-of-skin. But what about you lot? Will you be embracing the pale and interesting trend, or is the allure of a figure-flattering tan greater for you?
I tend to stay with the slightly sunkissed look all year round, and then more in the summer. This is because I've got olive skin, and without even a hint of a tan, I look a really poorly yellow tone in winter! So I help it along a bit. I'd never, ever, go to a sun bed or a salon or something. A lotion with a hint of self-tan is all I need and I use sometimes.
I find the new generation of leather-faced girls so creepy!

Like Astrid, I'm pretty much sunkissed all year round since I've got a tanned skin already. I call it my base coat of color but I'm a bit obsessive about wearing sunscreen.

I'm pale all year round, so will be keeping with tradition this year, just like the rest! I can tan, but honestly - I quite prefer to be pale, at least it's good for my skin!

yes! i'm staying pale all year around! & there's nothing wrong with that. & i really don't consider it "pale". just light skinned! lol but whatever you prefer to call it i guess... more power to the strong girls who don't give in to these fads & stay beautiful in their own skin! it's sad how so many girls will risk burning themselves to be tan. i want to slap them! lol & just shake them & let them know that they're beautiful the way they are they just have to own that beauty & sense of individuality!
