Meet the team: Zara
Hey guys! I'll be editing Kiss and Makeup from now on, and thought you might like to know a little about me.
Skin type: Combination skin, so oily and dry, yay!
Hair Colour: Blonde, since 15, so I regard it as my natural colour now! Couple of highlights and mousy brown roots.
Hair Type: Thick and wavy
Hair Length: Medium length
Eye colour: Bluey gray
Skin colour: Pale. And I pretty much always burn in the sun.
Perfume of choice: Angel by Thierry Mugler, and recently Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I'm a big fan of fruity, fresh scents.

Skincare: I religiously cleanse daily, and depending on my mood I either use Dermalogica's Microfoliant or Rodial A list Cleanser, for a squeaky clean finish. I moisturise with Origins Have a nice day, and use Origins Vit-A- Mins at night
Body skincare regime: I try and body brush daily but that doesn't always happen, and like using creamy shower creams. I prefer lotions to oils as I find they dry quicker
Favourite skin / body products: : Palmer's Cocoa butter smells amazing and is a great budget option, and the Hawaiian Tropic cream cos it smells delicious, and makes you really soft.
Hair removal – I use a trusty Venus razor every other day, as well as Immac on my bikini line. I'm currently undergoing a treatment of Laser hair removal on my underarms and testing the Tria laser hair removal system on my legs.
Top skincare tip: If you're fond of wearing heels your feet will definitely pay for it, so counter the hard skin by slathering on intensive foot cream every night and wearing socks with it. You'll notice a difference immediately.
Haircare:
Hair products used: I tend to change shampoo and conditioner every 6 weeks as I find my hair gets resistant to them. Currently I really like Tigi and the S factor as they smell divine, and the Herbal Essences Fusion range. Plus I use Frizz Ease on the ends. I use heat protection spray when styling, and if I have enough time I do an intensive hair treatment once a week..
Hair tools used: Corioliss straighteners at home, and GHDs in the office. I prefer to let my hair dry naturally as I don't like the noise but if I'm forced to do it I use a Braun hairdryer. I love Denman detangler and Trevor Sorbie paddle brushes as they are great for styling - and such budget prices!
Top haircare tip: They say weight 6- 8 weeks for colour, I say go every 5 if you can afford it.
Makeup:
Favourite Makeup brands: Hmm, this is a tricky one. I love Benefit, Mac, Bobbi Brown, Dior, Urban Decay, Hard Candy, Clarins, Bourjois, 17 (hey we were all teenagers once) - the list is endless! And everyday I discover more exciting ones to try!
Daily Makeup essentials:Clarins Powder, Mac foundation, Hard Candy blusher (really defines cheeks), Vaseline, Urban Decay polyester bride eyeshadow (used as a highlighter), Dior Show Blackout mascara, and a slick of whatever my current favourite lip balm is.
Makeup splurges: Anything pretty and palette-y, that I want to look at rather than use, novelty products that lure me in by the packaging and Guerlain Issima Midnight Secret - the best of all the moisturisers I've ever tried!
Top makeup tip: Moisturise before applying foundation to make it glide on, and use a foundation brush for good coverage.
