Missoni Colori Fragrances: For the woman who can't decide on a favourite smell

You know when you a buy a perfume the patronizing overly made up lady with the spray will start waffling on about base notes and top notes and leave you in a cloud of musk? Well some of what she's saying is actually important, such as the fact that most perfumes are infused with a variety of different flavours. Up till now you just had to lump it as you couldn't really separate the lovely sandalwood from the sickly patchouli (my personal opinion) and you'd opt for the fragrance you most liked. Well Missoni's Colori Fragrances aim to change all that by separating each individual scent into a different bottle and allowing you to layer them according to your whims.

There are four fragrances (or notes, as you may like to call them), from Rosa, which intertwines the beautiful florals of the delicate Peony and the dewy Rose, and is unsurprisingly in a pink bottle, to Gianduia which smells like Bailey's in a scent and gets you taste buds watering with its chocolatey amber smell.

My favourite though would have to be the Arancia scent, which combines orange and mandarin flavours to give you something truly delightful. It doesn't make me feel like 'the Missoni woman who spends long, lazy days with family and friends, basking in the Italian sun and relaxing with a lunchtime bowl of summertime fruit', but close enough. You can either use one scent or layer them to create the desired effect. I'm counting down the days now til they're on shelf!

You can buy these scents at £45 a bottle from Harrods from the 7th April onwards.
