The Oscars Beauty Round Up: The trend for Up do's and natural makeup
At the Brits we had celebs going all out in posh frocks and va va voom hair, with bright lips and heavily lined eyes. This years Academy Awards seems to be more of an understated event with celebs opting for elegant chic over all out sex appeal. We see here how a host of them opted for sexily simple up do's, either a sleek chignon, or side ponytail a la Cameron Diaz. Fringes were big news, with hair flopping in the eyes almost blinding Jennifer Garner, whilst Jessica Alba's quirky plaited up do is totally to die for! Shiny Gloss predicted bold lips and smoky eyes at the awards and whilst the lips seem to be fairly muted (excepting Anne Hathaway) smoky eyes are all the rage, so kudos!
