Tigi Control Freak for straight hair without the GHD's

When I first read about this I thought it sounded to good to be true. Iron straight hair with none of the problems of heat styling and on any hair type, no matter if frizzy or coarse. Surely not! Well, I managed to get a sample of this so called miracle cream, £6.95 from Beauty Counter Direct and tried it for myself. First off, its not particularly hair friendly product. It sprays on in a thick white mist that has to be brushed through and is a weird mixture of what feels like hairspray combined with mousse. It doesn't smell particularly nice either and you MUST wash your hair that night/ the next day or you'll have to live with the straw like consistency it turns into.
Saying that though the results were quite impressive. I used it on damp hair and then again on dry hair, and personally I think it works best with the dry. It doesn't get that just been ironed look we're all so fond of, but it does remove the kinks and make it hang longer than it would usually. It won't replace my straighteners b any means, but it will stay on my desk for emergencies, and surprise office night out.
