Jean Paul Gaultier launches Monsieur makeup for the metrosexual male
Not too long ago at a press event I was sworn to secrecy about a new brand of male makeup. 'Yar, we know JPG (Gaultier) did it a while back', they said, 'but that was too soon. We're thinking about today's metrosexual man'. Well it seems they've been pipped to the post, and by the very same JPG who first created the modern day makeup for the male. This collection, entitled Monsieur has a selection of products from bronzers, eyeliners and moisturisers, to look after and optimize the make complexion. The philosophy behind this? 'A Monsieur lies hidden in every man. Monsieur is sophisticated and elegant without fuss or complication, but of course not without humour'.

The range combines 17 products, from face scrubs and face washes to the more exciting make up collection. Of particular interest are the powder bronzer £29 for giving that just got back from holiday look and the fluid bronze multi complexion £20, which gives the skin a great outdoor glow. There's also a concealer, available in three shades for £17 and an eyeliner for £9.
We'll be testing out these products on our male staff and will bring you a video of whether or not they work.. and are worth it. Would you want your man in makeup? They're available exclusively at House of Fraser stores from the 31st March and nationwide from 14th April.
