Organic Gunge has to be one of the strangest names for a hand and foot cream that I've ever heard, but it does aptly summarize the thick gooey consistency of the product and the slightly sulphurous yellow colour as well. It's 100% natural and organic too, so it has great green credentials, as well as smoothing in a dream. Created by skin care guru Charles Jordi, it can be used in many places, from hands to feet and even lips and creates this amazing balmy feeling on the skin. It contains a mixture of essential oils and exciting natural ingredients from beeswax, thistle oil and cocoa butter to almond oil.
I love the feel of it on my skin, and a little goes a seriously long way. The smell is quite pungent though, so if you don't like essential oils tis probably not the one for you, but if you do you'll be bowled over by the scent and super smooth results it provides. In a similar way to the infamous 8 hour cream it can be used anywhere, and works a treat on scrapes and bruises. For a deeply nourishing intensive balm you really can't do better, and the little pot I have is guarded jealously on my desk. It's £16.95 from Charles Jordi, and gets the definite thumbs up.
