I know I'm preaching to the choir here. Chances are most of you own these products already, but if you don't I simply can't rave about them enough. I'm even going to avoid all the obvious orgasm-related jokes as I discuss the wonders of Nars' suits-all pinky peach blush of the same name. The first couple of times I wore it I wasn't convinced. It didn't seem to do all that much, just added a slight shimmery flush that wasn't worth the money. Then I saw photographs of me wearing it and realised what the hype is all about...
The natural finish is the exact reason it's so wonderful. It manages to produce a healthy 'light-from-within' look even on my product-ravaged skin. 'Laguna', the bronzer, adds a soft sun-kissed look without being at all orange or dirty and is brilliant for fair skins in particular. Ironically, there's more shimmer in the blush than in the bronzer, but I think that's why they work so well together. I sweep Laguna into the hollows of the cheeks and Orgasm into the apples to add a bit of subtle contouring. Though both products are available separately from Nars counters and HQhair.com, The $36 duo compact is only available at Sephora which is a pain for those of us in the UK. It's worth bribing a mate or going on a long-haul shopping trip to nab it, though. It was the first thing I put in my shopping basket on a recent trip to the USA and it will go everywhere with me from now on.
