Every girl should have at least one signature scent (in my opinion two or three is better) and the Angel perfume tends to be one of those scents that fall into the love it or hate it category. Perhaps it's the iconic blue star shaped bottle or the fact that it's a blend of chocolate and vanilla infused with sandalwood and patchouli that makes it provoke such strong reactions, but either way it's rather unforgettable. I was first drawn to it a couple years back when I walked passed a lady wearing it, and it enchanted my nose so much that I did the unthinkable in London, and actually went up to her and askedher what scent she was wearing.

Once she'd recovered from the initial shock of being confronted by a stranger, she filled me in on the Angel secret and started my long lifelong love affair with the brand. Every bottle purchased is lovingly unwrapped and the swallow blue envelope that accompanies it (that invites new purchasers into the Angel club) is lovingly stroked. Wearing it puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day, and it's light enough to wear to work whilst still strong enough to work on a night out. Some people may find it slightly to sugary for their taste, but to my mind it balances the elements just right to create a sweet yet not sickly smell.
