Chanel to release limited edition nail polish colors for LA boutique

Chanel nail color.jpg

Look for a second L.A. Chanel boutique on North Robertson Boulevard in May, and four limited-edition nail polishes in pop-art colors to celebrate the occasion.

The nail polishes, $25, will sport names inspired by Robertson Boulevard, like the purple Rodeo Drive polish shown. Initially they will only be available in store, then will go online in June.

For its part, the store will feature a more edited and constantly rotating selection than the current L.A. flagship on North Rodeo Drive.

Chanel is also redesigning its fine jewelry flagship at Madison Avenue and 64th Street. To celebrate that event, the store will sell an exclusive range of twelve diamond rings.

The space pays homage to Coco Chanel's Paris apartment.

"Rather than a fine jewelry boutique, we wanted to create a living space where our clients can feel comfortable and enjoy a special experience," Philippe Mougenot, global president of Chanel fine jewelry & watches, told Fashion Week Daily.
