For awhile now my quest has been to have the sexiest straightest hair ever, but after a night at the L'Oreal hairdressers awards I've started thinking about possibly going for a more relaxed tousled style. It remains true however that hair straighteners are actually fairly lethal weapons and during my time I've managed to really scald my right ear (think peeling and redness) my sister got a second degree burn from her GHDs on her BUM when she sat on them, and there are various other related injuries (tripping on cords, setting houses on fire...). Well the Acriflex Cooling Burns Gel is a godsend to all us clumsy girls, as it provides immediate relief on those burns as well as hydrating the skin and helping prevent scarring and infection.

Apply the gel immediately to any affected areas and you should notice an immediate cooling effect. As well as this it also cleanses the area, which reduces the risk of any bacterial infections.

The gel isn't intended to treat serious burns though, so if you're unsure check with a doctor. they've given us this nice piece of advice though-

"You should seek to cool the area as quickly as possible - running it under cool water for about 10 minutes before applying an antiseptic to ward off infection. Alternatively, make sure your first aid cabinet has a specifically developed product like Acriflex Cooling Burns Gel which will quickly ease the inflammation, protect against infection and support your skin's healing process. Remember, you must never ignore a serious burn: if it's larger than a postage stamp or has penetrated beyond the first layer of skin you should always seek medical advice."

Acriflex Cooling Burns Gel is available nationwide for £3.99.
