Now I'm sure you guys love MAC as much as I do, but that doesn't always mean you're able to apply it perfectly. Well in the quest for achieving that flawless face I met world renown makeup artist Terry Barber and he talked me through the basics of creating a smokey eye. Along the way I picked up a couple of great tips and tricks, and I'm going to share them all with you! He's made up all types of famous faces, from Mary J Blige to Pamela Anderson, But he wouldn't share any gossip (boo!) Read on for his helpful tips.
Colours To use:
'Grey, metallic brown and back works on everyone' he said.
Foundation:
'Skin with foundation should look well conditioned. You want to create Botox with foundation. Foundation should be transparent but it should lift the skin'
He loves to use Face and Body Foundation.
Concealer:
'Apply concealer in a C shape with Moisture Cover concealer and 224 brush'
Powder:
'Powder is a personal preference, what you're comfortable with'
Eyeliner: What do the pro's do?
'Start with colour. Flick out from the under the lash line.Do corner flick first and join it through.Pencil first and liquid afterwards. You have to be really skillful to do the whole eye with liquid.'
Mascara:
Zig zag the mascara brush and the fibers will go right to the roots and you get a full lash". ( I tried this at home- it really works!)
Blush: Confused about whwre to contour?
'Contour from the corner of lip to the top of the ear. Warm the temple, create a halo round the hairline'
