Rimmel mascaras have always been a favourite of mine. I like big, dramatic lashes and theirs usually deliver for very little cost. The latest one to join the ranks is Glam'eyes, a does-it-all mascara that comes in boudoir packaging with a pink plastic brush with two different sized sets of bristles. The short ones build volume at the root, the longer add length to the lashes. The above picture is the result I got with a few coats of the brown black shade (002). As you can see, it's spider-lashes ahoy...not one for the faint-hearted!

The brush is very thin and allows you to get right down into the root and pull the colour through quite easily. Just beware of getting it on your eyelids as you do so. The two lengths of bristle give a comb-like quality to the brush which is nice as it means no need for a separate lash comb. However, beware of applying too many coats or the spider-leg look just ends up clumping...I reckon I went a bit too far by the photo on the right (which was the third coat).
Whether you like this product or not really depends on the look you go for. If it's big volume you're after, you might find this a bit watery. It does volumise but it's the lengthening properties that are really noticeable. The plastic brush is quite small and soft which makes it flexible but also a bit flimsy. I've found it's really great for daytime with no other eye makeup. At night I'll stick to Rimmel's Volum Flash in blackest black for a really dramatic look!
